About

I am a wildlife artist and scientific illustrator living in Georgia. I grew up fishing with my dad and running around in the woods looking for animal tracks, rocks, and fossils. I recognize that many people these days do not get these experiences in nature and thus are ignorant of the beauty of nature as well as how our delicate ecosystems function. I have made it my goal in life to try to share my knowledge of and appreciation for nature with as many people as possible. I first worked to expand my knowledge by gaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Forest Resources with an emphasis in Wildlife from the Warnell School of Forestry at the University of Georgia. I now work as a Naturalist at a Nature Center and enjoy taking others out into nature and sharing my love of the natural world with them. This is a wonderful way to work with people one on one, but I realize that there are only so many people that can be reached this way. I have been drawing and creating art my entire life, and so I decided to start using these skills to reach more people. I am now trying to kick-off my career as a freelance illustrator, and will be working on my own personal projects as well as looking for client work. I hope to inspire and educate as many people as possible both in person and with my artwork. Wish me luck!
